Temple Area 5BR Gem | Great for Groups & Family

For one night, it was fine and the host was accommodating, by allowing us to check in early, but I dont think anyone in our group would want to stay again. The bnb could definitely use some maintenance and a deep clean. It was hard to open the first door due to a busted storm door knob. once we got in, you're smacked in the face with the smell of cigarettes which unfortunately triggered an asthma attack. The central air wasn't working upon arrival so there was a unit in 4 out of the 5 bedrooms but all the common areas, bathrooms, and one bedroom were extremely hot. we decided not to use one of the bedrooms because of the heat and had the child traveling with us share a room with her parents. For the location, and things that didn't go as planned (especially on a 90°+ degree day) we definitely did not feel this airbnb was worth the price.

it was clear that this place uses a property management service to operate the airbnb which resulted in communicative but unhelpful responses. The Airbnb power was inconsistent and it could not handle each room running an air conditioner. which

Overall, we had an okay stay. The place wasn’t terrible, but there were a few things that could definitely be improved. The biggest issue was the AC not working when we first arrived, which was frustrating, especially after traveling. However, the host was very quick to respond and did their best to address any issues, which we appreciated. One concern we had was that there was no access out of the back door, so there really wasn’t a second means of egress, which made us a little uncomfortable from a safety standpoint. Other than that, the stay was decent for what we needed, but there’s room for improvement.
