Single room with bed and bathroom only, shared areas available
This was my first airbnb experience in Philly so not anything to compare it to. There are a lack of hotels in that neighborhood so I picked it because it was the only choice for my dates in West Philly. The pictures of the basement unit BF were not entirely accurate. The couch is not in the room, it is at the bottom of the stairs. The stairs are very steep to the basement and no handrail. The rooms are not decorated like the photos. The basement room was a little creepy. The other people staying in the house were nice, but because it is a shared space, you never know who else will be there. I wouldn't recommend staying there alone. The shared kitchen was really clean, with plenty of room to eat. Full size refrigerator. The washer and dryer is a nice touch. But the dryer chimes really loud several times when done and it woke me up several times when other people in the house were drying clothes.
